A successful show for Al Bustan Al Khaleeji at HORECA 2020

Al Bustan Al Khaleeji (BK) participated in HORECA 2020, an exclusive event for players in hospitality and foodservice business. BK displayed a wide range of food products in association with its partner brands such as Ferrero, Haribo, Bahlsen, Langnese, Libby’s, Nirapara, Leagal, and more. Brand representatives were also available at the booths to address customer needs.

BK had a large exhibiting area with its display spread across two booths. The Booths had live cooking counters to serve delicious recipes. Customers’ visiting the BK booth also got insights on new product launches. BK booths got high footfall and positive responses from visitors at HORECA.

HORECA Kuwait is one of the most important exhibitions in the hospitality sector. It deals with all the services and products related to the food industry, restaurants, hotels, and hospitals. Mr. Pierre Fares, FSD Commercial Head said, “HORECA provides a platform for businesses to interact with its customers and gives a good opportunity to understand market trends and customer expectations all under one roof.” The event was held at Kuwait International Fair from January 20th to the 22nd, and was open for visitors from 11 am to 8:30 pm.

Ferrero Gulf and Al Bustan Al Khaleeji form joint venture

Partnership establishes a Direct Distribution Channel for Ferrero products in Kuwait

Kuwait City: The Ferrero Group (“Ferrero”), a global confectionary group, and Al Bustan Al Khaleeji (BK), a leading FMCG food distribution company operating in Kuwait, announced a strategic joint venture agreement. Effective immediately, the joint venture – named Fergulf Kuwait General Trading WLL – will see both parties combine forces to directly distribute Ferrero products across the Kuwaiti market.

The launch of Fergulf Kuwait General Trading WLL is the culmination of a longstanding working relationship between Ferrero Gulf and BK – one that began decades ago.

Designed to consolidate the partnership between both parties, the strategic agreement will see Ferrero apply its unique business approach and know-how to the Kuwaiti market. This in turn will open up new avenues of growth, which include opportunities for local business expansion and the development of new products or strategies.
